Bond-ing with MI6

The Sun has two small column items as James Bond's employers, MI6 widens its recruitment net ...

1. Heading: Girls,you too can be Bond with b&w photo of Dame Judy ( should be Judi ) Dench as M above heading which opens: "REAL-life Bond girls are wanted to work for MI6. The Secret Intelligence Service has started emphasising its family-friendly credentials in a bid to sign up more female spies." So watch out for as future 007 Craig changing nappies as Mrs Bond goes out to save the world on a part-time basis ( 14/05 ).
2. Heading: 20,000 in a rush to be spies with b&w photo of Daniel Craig above heading which opens: "MORE than 20,000 wannabe British spies have applied for MI6 jobs in the past year. Intelligence chiefs have been inundated with inquiries from people wanting to be a real-life James Bond, played by actor Daniel Craig. They have been swamped after one ad in newspapers last April and a website appeal." If you're expecting an Aston, I think you'll be unlucky ! ( 16/05 ).

James Bond News: Miscellaneous

1. Noticed the following Bond related items in The Sun ...
1. At a time when both should be enjoying their pensions, two different items announces ..
   1) "crooner [ TB singer ] Tom Jones has joined the line-up for the Princess of Wales's memorial gig ... Welsh legend Sir Tom, 66, will perform at the Concert For Diana at Wembley Stadium on July 1." He is seen in a page 3 mock-up picture with rapper P Diddy who also appears.
   2) under heading of SHIRLEY GLASSY, the entertainment page reveals "diva [ Bond singer ] Dame Shirley Bassey will be putting a bit of razzle dazzle into this year's Glastonbury festival. .. The Welsh warbler, set to appear on stage in a diamond-encrusted Julian MacDonald gown, will be flying in by helicopter flanked by security officers to guard the gems" and avoid the crowds & queues ( 10/05 ).
2. A 'saucy' poll by "12,000 Glamour magazine readers .. found heart-throb Brad Pitt is the fella that most women fantasise about, followed by screen hunk Johnny Depp. Third choice was the new James Bond star Daniel Craig." See Dan those trunks don't work for everyone ! ( 11/05 ).
